Two people detained over attack on health workers in Ankara

As part of the investigation launched by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, two people who forced the door of Keçiören Training and Research Hospital's emergency service have been identified.

As reported by the state-run Anadolu Agency (AA), two of the suspects have been detained by the Ankara Security Directorate teams over their attempted attack on healthcare workers. While the suspects are reportedly still in the police station, they will be referred to courthouse afterwards.

Taking the images and videos shared on social media as a tip-off, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office previously announced that an investigation was launched against the suspects on charges of "damaging public property", "resisting to prevent fulfilment of duty", "threat" and "insult".
