Türkiye's official inflation rate at 84.39 percent in November

The inflation rate dropped about 1 percentage point in a month. According to the ENAG, the rate is over 170 percent.

Türkiye's monthly inflation rate was 2.88 percent and annual rate was 84.39 percent in November, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced today (December 5).

The official inflation figures will affect the minimum wage for 2023, negotiations for which will start on Wednesday.

In the previous month, the annual inflation rate was 85.5 percent.

According to the Inflation Research Group (ENAG), a group of economists, the monthly inflation rate was 4.24 percent and the annual rate was 170.70 percent.
