Un, who works for the weekly Firatta Yasam , in Diyarbakir, is reported to have been kidnapped on 4 September by armed men who said they were police and intelligence agents. He is thought to have been taken to a deserted spot outside the town, interrogated about his work and threatened with death to force him to sign a promise to supply his kidnappers with information.
