Trustee Appointed to Muradiye Municipality
Van’s Muradiye sub-Governor Mehmet Fatih Çelikel has been appointed to Muradiye Municipality as trustee. Co-Mayor Mehmet Ali Tunç from the DBP was detained during a house raid yesterday.

Van’s Muradiye sub-Governor Mehmet Fatih Çelikel has been appointed to Muradiye Municipality as trustee. Co-Mayor Mehmet Ali Tunç from the DBP was detained during a house raid yesterday (January 16).
Taken to Edremit Anti-Terror Bureau Directorate after being detained, ban of meeting attorneys was imposed on Co-Mayor Tunç.
As of January 17, trustees were appointed to 58 DBP-governed municipalities; 76 co-mayors are under arrest. (YO/TK)
