Special operations team in Bağlar district of Diyarbakır province in southeastern Turkey killed Şaban Çelik (29) and Fahrettin budak (40) during a police operation. Both of them lost their lives.
According to the newspapers, the police clashed with PKK at 1 a.m. today.
Şaban Çelik got injured by police bullet and then was taken to Dicle University Medical Faculty Hospital but couldn’t be rescued.
An investigation has been launched related to the event.
According to Fırat News Agency, the police opened fire another quarter of Bağlar district and Fahrettin Budak was shot in the chest and back. Budak died and his dead body was taken to forensic medicine institution.
Three people were detained while a person got wounded.
Mardin province
The dead body of Havzullah Doğan (29), father of three, was identified by his family after killed by police attack in Nusaybin district of Mardin province. Doğan’s family stated there was a tarce of battering in the head of Havzullah Doğan.
According to the website Özgür Gündem, Nusaybin Government Office was attacked with rocket launchers and long barreled weapons on August 11 at 21.30 p.m. three policemen got wounded; one of them was gravely injured. Special operations team attacked journalists in front of Mardin hospital after the attack.
