A child worker from Syria lost his life after falling into a pond in the northwestern Bursa province.
Nucud Salih (10) was working as a seasonal agricultural worker with her family in Bursa's Karacabey district.
She fell into a pond while playing with her friends. Emergency service workers took her to the hospital but she could not be saved.
According to the Health and Safety Labor Watch (İSİG), at least 188 workers lost their lives. Eight of them were children and eight were refugees. (AÖ/VK)
