Simha Siman Demri, Avraham Goldman, Yonathan Suher and Ali Reza Razmhah have lost their lives in the suicide bomb attack on İstiklal street of Istanbul's one of the most central and crowded places of Taksim Square on March 19, Saturday.
Simha Siman Demri, Yonathan Suher and Avraham Goldman were citizens of Israel. They had come to İstanbul in a group of 14 for a culinary tour. Suher and Goldman were also US citizens.
The story of the four victims who have lost their lives in the attack is as follows:
Simha Siman Demri
60 year-old Simha Siman Demri, was a retired kindergarten teacher. She was the mother of four and had also grandchildren. She was living in Dimona district in southern Israel.
She had attended the tour with her husband Avi Demri who also got injured in the attack. He has told about the moment of the attack as follows: “I fell behind to make a photo of a shop window and send it to my daughter. Suddenly I heard a terrible explosion. Everything was flitting about. I couldn’t see my wife”.
Yonathan Suher
Yonathan Suher was celebrating his 40th birthday with his wife Inbal Marom-Suher in İstanbul. They had two children. Suher who lived in Tel Aviv was a law school graduate and working at a technology company. His wife has also been injured in the attack.
Avraham Godman
Avraham Goldman was 69 years old. He had attended the tour with his wife Nitza.They had three children and three grandchildren. Avi Goldman had been working as a tourist guide for foreign business persons and politicians in Israel.
Ali Reza Razmhah
Iranian Ali Reza Razmhah who lost his life in the attack was 45 years old. He was in İstanbul with his wife Azan and their 18 month-old daughter Diana. Azan and Diana injured in the attack have been taken to Şişli Etfal Hospital for treatment. (ÇT/BK/DG)
