Special Security Zone in 8 Districts in Bingöl
Bingöl Governorship has declared special security zone in eight districts for 15 days on the ground that “citizens whose daily lives were affected negatively had to suffer”.

Bingöl Governorship has declared special security zone in eight districts of Turkey's eastern province of Bingöl for 15 days.
Entrance is prohibited to these areas until September 19.
The regions affected by the special security zone application are Merkez, Adaklı, Genç, Solhan, Yayladere, Kiğı, Karlıova and Yedisu districts.
Reason: Deprivation of right to travel
The government in a written statement issued on its official website cited "citizens being deprived of exercising their rights to carry out economic and social activities as well as to travel" as the reason for the special security zone application. (AS/DG)
