An explosion in Akdizgin, a village of Şırnak province in the southeastern Turkey, left Ramazan Yıldız (11) dead - an incident allegedly caused by military equipment.
According to Yüksekova Haber website which cited Dicle News Agency, the explosion took place 1 kilometer of Internal Security Infantry Barracks.
Eyewitnesses said the explosion killed Yıldız as he was playing nearby and claimed that it was caused by military equipment.
Yıldız's body has been kept in Cizre Public Hospital morgue and an investigation has been launched, officials said. (EKN)
