Hakkari’s Şemdinli district Co-Mayor Seferi Yılmaz has been arrested on charge of “[illegal] organization membership.
Yılmaz was detained on December 3 along with Hakkari’s districts of Çukurca and Yüksekova co-mayors.
The number of arrested Democratic Regions Party (DBP) co-mayors increased to 48 as of December 6. 36 trustees were appointed to DBP-governed municipalities. (ÇT/TK)
