Second Group of News Watch to Head for Diyarbakır

The News Watch initiated by journalists to act in solidarity with their colleagues in the cities under curfew has entered its second week.

Pınar Öğünç from Cumhuriyet daily, Agos weekly Chief Editor Yetvart Danzikyan, Mesut Bayram from Sol Haber Portalı (Left News Portal), freelance journalist Zeynep Yüncüler, Elif Akgül from bianet and Evrensel daily Chief Editor Fatih Polat are included in the second group that will be in Diyarbakır on February 9.

The second team to take over the watch on Tuesday will follow up news with the journalists in the region and report of what the journalists have been going through. (EA/TK)
