Two rockets launched from the Syrian side of the border have hit Kilis this morning (April 29) at around 6 a.m.
The two Katyushas* fired from the Bab region which is held by ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) have hit a region where country houses are located near Kilis-Öncüpınar Highway.
No one got injured on the empty field.

Ambulances and police teams have been sent to the area over Kilis residents informing the police of the explosion they have heard. The police have assigned the authority to gendarmerie as the territory of the incident was within the gendarmerie’s area of responsibility.
ISIS rockets
According to the report of Hatay Peoples’ Assembly, 11 attacks have been carried out on Kilis from regions in Syria which are under control of Al Qaeda, ISIS and the allied organizations.
17 persons have lost their lives, 62 injured. Six of the ones who have lost their lives were citizens of Syria, the other 11 were citizens of Turkey.
Municipality worker Mehmet Hanifi Sağlam (48) wounded by the rocket fired on April 12, 2016 on Kilis, had lost his life in Kilis State Hospital where he was taken for treatment. Another municipality worker had died in the morning hours.

Two rockets launched on Kilis from ISIS-held territory in Syrian on April 7, which left three wounded.
