Making the first statement following the decision, Abdülhamit Gül tweeted:
“I have no dream other than living and dying in these lands. I don’t have a single tick or a cent in any country including Turkey and the US. If god permits, maybe one day I’ll buy a small olive grove in my hometown Gaziantep”.
Soylu: “We have one property in the US”
Minister Soylu gave the response at 9 a.m. today (August 2). Soylu reacted: “We have one property in the US: FETÖ (Fethullahist Terrorist Organization). We will not leave him, take him back”.
Minister of Foreign Affairs: It will not remain unreciprocated
On his Twitter account, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said the US imposing sanctions will not remain unreciprocated and added: “We cannot solve our problems unless the US government comprehends that they cannot get their unlawful demands via this method”. (HK/TK)
