Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Siirt MP Besime Konca arrested in Kandıra type-F Closed Prison in December was released on probation today.
Konca behind bars since December 13, 2016 has been standing trial before Batman 2nd High Criminal Court on charges of "being a member of an illegal organization" and "propagandizing for an illegal organization".
As of May 3, there are 10 MPs from the HDP.

She was arrested on the same day of her release
Konca was taken into custody on December 13 as a part of the investigation carried out by Batman Cumhuriyet Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and was released by Batman 1st Criminal Judgeship of Peace on probation. She was arrested on the same day upon prosecutor's office challenging the release order of the court.
About Besime Konca
Konca was born in Maraş in 1970. She graduated from Samsun 19 Mayıs University and served 11 years in prison between 1993-2004 on charge of political crimes. In 2009 she was arrested again as a part of the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) trials in 2009 and was released in 2014. She worked for the Free Women's' Congress for a period.
Having participated in the Central Executive Board as a member of the Democratic Society Party (DTP), Konca was elected HDP Siirt MP in the November 1, 2015 General Elections. (ÇT/DG
