Six of 12 people who were detained on suspicion of “RedHack” membership were released today following their testimony at Ankara Chief Public Prosecution Office Bureau of Investigation Into Crimes Against Constitutional Order.
Speaking to bianet, their attorneys Fırat Durak said no solid evidence as to RedHack membership charge was presented and no question was asked about any evidence. “We saw that they have no proof”, Durak said.
Confidentiality order was issued due to e-mail hacking
Attorney Durak stated that a confidentiality order was issued with respect to hacking of emails of Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Berat Albayrak, however, no question was posed to the suspects of this matter.
“What do you know about RedHack?”
Furthermore, attorney Durak said the questions “Who is using Twitter accounts?”, “Who do the codes names belong to?”, “Who released the documents on Twitter?”, “What do you know about RedHack?” about RedHack hacker group.
Durak added that the six people were tried and acquitted of a RedHack case earlier and they hadn’t met with different questions than these that time as well.
