President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş issued instructions to the muftis (religious officials) of all 81 provinces about a new project for families to gather in mosques on Friday nights.
As part of the project, families will be called to mosques after night prayers on Thursday and speeches that are "in accordance with the conditions, needs, meaning and the importance of this day and age" will be delivered to them.
One purpose of the project is to make children gain an awareness of "praying at a mosque and together with the community," Erbaş stressed. (RT/VK)
