Finance Bureau police are carrying out search in Samanyolu TV Building in Üsküdar district of İstanbul.
According to Cihan News Agency, the cause of search is trustee appointment to Planlama Reklamcılık Filmcilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş (Plannind Advertising Filmin Industry and Commerce Corporation) .
Samanyolu TV Broadcast Group President, Hidayet Karaca was detained on December 14, 2014 and arrested on December 19, 2014. The channel was removed from TÜRKSAT platform in November 2015.
Search is ongoing in the building.
Trustee to media
Earlier, trustee was appointed to İpek Media, trustee commission had entered the building by police force. İpek Media had ended its activities on March 1, 2016.
Another trustee was appointed to Feza Journalism embodied in Zaman daily. (EA/TK)
