Police Attacks Election Count Crowd in Ankara
Police intervened protestors who gathered outside the Supreme Election Committee (YSK) headquarters in Ankara after Republican Peoples’ Party’s objection to the local election results.

CHP objected the local election results in Ankara. Following this objection many people in Ankara came together in front of Supreme Election Committee’s (YSK) building. The police attacked with TOMA.
Since the early hours of this morning people have been gathered for the counting in front of the YSK building. The number of waiting people has increased in the afternoon. The riot police attacked the crowd at 4:05 pm local time with tear gas and water cannons.
The police intervened the people and barricaded around the building. (HK/BD/BM)
