The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe has criticized Turkey not cooperating with investigation into the infraction allegations concerning the constitutional amendment referendum.
Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Michael George Link in his interview to the Dutch media stated that “it is unfortunately not possible to speak of a cooperation”, according to Deutsche Welle.
“It is fixed that decision of the Supreme Election Board (YSK) contravenes Turkish legislations”.
OSCE chief observer Link rejected Ankara’s accusation that “OSCE observers are preconceived”.

Link said that the election went well in terms of technicality but it fell short of domestic and international standards.
Restricting freedom of the press has also caused a serious issue, Link added. (YY/TK)
