The Open Society Institute has pledged support for teacher training projects in 2009. A considerable part of the foundation’s 3 million TL budget is to be used in this area.
Teachers with projects that are prepared within the framework of alternative learning and personal development can apply to the foundation until 27 March. Applications will be considered by the consulting board.
The foundation expressed its desire to support primary and middle school teachers who have only limited opportunities to develop their professional skills or personal knowledge and skills and has invited teachers to present ideas for projects which will offer alternative learning and personal development.
