Number of security forces losing their lives in conflict between Patriotic Revolutionary Youth Movement (YDG-H) in Turkey’s southeastern Sur district of Diyarbakır has risen to five.

Captain Yiğit Can Çiğa, Noncommissioned Officer Özgür Erdoğan, and Specialist Sergeant Osman Ateş had lost their lives yesterday (January 27) and that a commissar wounded by sniper shooting died.
Lastly, a police officer wounded heavily in the conflict erupted yesterday couldn’t be saved despite all the efforts.
Treatment of three soldiers in hospital is ongoing. (EKN/TK)
