Today was the third day of a work stoppage by molding workers at the Küsget industrial site in Antep, the industrial city in the southeast of Türkiye.
Started jointly by the workers who are citizens of Türkiye and migrant workers from Syria, the work stoppage is organized requesting pay rise and improved conditions.
Today again for the third day, the workers gathered early in the morning in front of the workplaces. Representatives elected by the workers held a meeting and took a decision to continue the work stoppage until their demands are met.
Around 200 workers working at the Küsget industrial site in Antep consisting of locals and Syrian workers had started a work stoppage together on Monday (January 2).

The workers are demanding a fifty percent pay rise without any increase in their workload. (PE)
