The Education Union has claimed a revoke and stay of execution against the Ministry of National Education.
The “Bylaw on Opening, Closing and Naming Institutions” entered into force on June 24.
Through the bylaw, the schools have been obliged to open Muslim prayer rooms for men and women separately.
In a statement issued about the subject, the Education Union described the situation as “the last example of the efforts to regulate education and social life by religious rule” and criticized the bylaw. (YY/TK)
