Republican People’s Party (CHP) Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu spoke at the “Equality and Justice Women’s Meeting” held at Ankara Sports Hall on 83rd annual of women being granted to elect and be elected in Turkey.
Kılıçdaroğlu briefly said:
“Release MPs”
“None of us has safety of life and property. This is the stage where strongman regime has brought Turkey to.
“Let me give Erdoğan an advice. If you don’t want the businessmen to flee Turkey, you will release all MPs.
“Two, you will release the journalists.
“Three, you will ensure freedom of the press.
“Four, you will ensure judicial freedom.
“You will not silence the universities.
“You will reinstate all academics and lecturers whom you discharged. You will immediately have Semih [Özakça] and Nuriye [Gülmen] reinstated to their jobs.
“You will do these if you love your country”.
“AKP members vindicated the corrupt ministers”
“The ministers prostrated themselves before Rıza Sarraf (Reza Zarrab). They awarded him with a plaque.
“A commission was set up in the parliament. The AKP (Justice and Development Party) MPs bribed the corrupt ministers. They prevented the corrupt ministers from being referred to the grand chamber.
“Who were these MPs? Hakkı Köylü, Yılmaz Tunç, Kemal Şerbetçioğlu, İlknur İncegöz, İsmet Su, Bilal Uçar, Yusuf Başer, Ayşe Türkmenoğlu”.
“They worried that Sarraf would talk. The United States has imprisoned the man who would be awarded with the medal of honor. We sent diplomatic note twice for a briber, for a fraud”. (EKN/TK)
