Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın stated yesterday (August 24) that the Jarablus Operation is carried out in order to clean Turkey’s borders from all “terrorist” elements such as ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) and YPG (People’s Protection Units).
Kalın in his message he shared on Internet has noted “The aim of the Jarablus operation is to clean our borders from all terrorist elements including DAEŞ (ISIS) and YPG. Turkey is fully determined. We will continue to take necessary action to protect the security of Turkey’s borders and the territorial integrity of Syria”. (NV/DG)
