Justice Ministry approved the names of Kurdish deputies to meet PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan in Imrali island for the second row of negotiations between PKK and Turkey.
Yesterday, Peace and Democracy Party appointed its Sırrı Sürreya Önder, Altan Tan and Pervin Buldan to meet Öcalan.
The second row of negotiations will take place in Imrali island on February 23.
The first row of negotiations was held in early January with the participation of Kurdish deputies Ahmet Türk and Ayla Akat Ata.
Peace and Democracy Party released a statement yesterday, saying that even though the Turkish government rejected their first proposal on the names, PDP aimed to avoid a crisis by making a second proposal.
"We have discussed this issue in our party parliament. We found Öcalan's conciliatory approach very important and decided to move forward with a second proposal of deputies who will meet Öcalan on Saturday." (YY/BM)
