27 year-old Evin Buldan, an editor of Diyarbakır-based Rojeva Media Newspaper created as a substitute to Azadiya Welat daily which was closed by a statutory decree, has lost her life of a heart attack in Turkey's southeastern Diyarbakır province on April 2.
Buldan had a heart attack at the evening hours in front of her house and was delivered to Selahattin Eyyubi State Hospital but could not be rescued despite all efforts.
Buldan's funeral ceremony will be held today (April 3) in Yüksekova district in Turkey's southeastern province of Hakkari.
About Evin Buldan
According to Şûjin daily, Evin Buldan had to move to a United Nations Camp in Maxmûr in Iraq with her family to escape from oppressions by the state when she was 4 years old and grew up there.
She studied Radio and Television at Selahattin University in Erbil and started working as a journalist when she graduated.
In 2011, she came to Diyarbakır and started working for Azadiya Welat daily and transferred to Rojeva Media Newspaper when Azadiya Welat was closed by a statutory decree. (CK/EKN/DG)
