“I’m Honored But I will Continue with CHP”

“I am honored but I will continue with Republican People’s Party (CHP),” Rıza Türmen, CHP’s Izmir province deputy, said regarding his selection of president candidates by People’s Democratic Party (HDP).  

Türmen released the following statement: 

 “I am honored with being one of the names put forward by HDP for presidential election. Today in media, there are news about the issue, as well.”

 “I started politics in CHP, aiming at struggling for human rights, pluralistic democracy, freedom, justice and equality. I will continue with CHP while making efforts for the sake of making these values sovereign in Republican People’s Party and fortifying the base of social democracy.” (NV/MEV/BM)
