A new warning of heavy rainfall has been made for Turkey's Black Sea province of Rize, which was hit by floods and landslides last week, alongside other Eastern Black Sea provinces such as Artvin.
Some village and neighborhood heads in Fındıklı district have sent people messages and urged them to be cautious ahead of the imminent precipitation expected to hit the area on Tuesday (tomorrow, July 27).

Meteorologist Kerem Ökten has also posted a message on his Twitter account. Announcing that 250 kilograms of rainfall is expected to fall in Ardeşen, Fındıklı and Arhavi districts in Rize and Artvin within 24 hours, Ökten has warned that "there is a high risk of loss of life":
Evacuate the houses near the streams. Don't take precautions. Evacuate them without thinking. The period when it will be the most effective is 9 in the morning on Tuesday
