Peoples' Democratic Party's (HDP) detained Batman MP Mehmet Ali Aslan has been released after testifying before Batman 2nd High Criminal Court.
Aslan was taken into custody yesterday (June 13) at around 2 a.m in the morning at Batman airport where he arrived to fly to Ankara.

It has been reported, that an order was issued to take Aslan forcibly to give testimony before the court as a part of a lawsuit filed against him before Batman 2nd High Criminal Court on charge of "being a member of an illegal organization" and "propagandizing for a terrorist organization".
According to Dicle News Agency (Dihaber), the lawsuit was filed due to funeral ceremony to which Aslan had attended last year. (HK/DG)
