Halfeti Co-Mayor Mustafa Bayram has been arrested.
With the arrest, the number of arrested Democratic Regions Party (DBP) co-mayors and deputy chairs has increased to 57. There are 41 trustees appointed to DBP-governed municipalities.
According to a report by Fırat News Agency, 18 people who were detained as part of a probe launched on November 2 were referred to court for arrest after having their testimonies.
Eight people including Bayram were arrested. (BK/TK)
