Germany extradited four "radical Islamists" classified as "dangerous" to Turkey between January and mid-December, the country's government said in response to a parliamentary question.
Among 18 people in the same category, four were extradited to Russia, two were extradited to Bosnia and Herzegovina and one person was extradited to each of Algeria, Kuwait, Pakistan, Somalia, Tajikistan, Iraq and Iran, said the government.
The "dangerous" classification of Germany's security units includes people who have committed or have intentions to commit serious violent crimes, including "politically motivated terrorist attacks." (PT/VK)
