34 general and admirals have been promoted to a higher rank, while 46 colonels have been promoted to the rank of general or admiral.
The terms of duty for 54 generals and admirals were extended for a year.

Naval Colonel Dursun Çiçek, who came to public attention after having allegedly signed a plan to discredit the current government with illegal means, has been denied promotion.
