Supreme Electoral Council of Turkey (YSK) rejected three appeals from Justice and Development Party (AKP) and one appeal from Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) related to the general elections which was held on June 7.
AKP had appealed for reconsideration of votes in Diyarbakır, Van and Giresun provinces while HDP appealed for the votes in Elazığ province.
Deadline
Deadline for appeals to YSK is at 5 o’clock p.m. today.
However, it is possible to appeal to YSK till June 21, 5 o’clock p.m. for extraordinary situations.
It is expected from YSK to announce the final result of the elections on June 18 in case there is no other objection. (YY/BD)
