Forest fires that broke out in Aliboğazı, Dersim and lasted two weeks has been put down by efforts of volunteers.
The fire in which many wild animals and endemic plants have been hurt had spread to rural central.
According to Mezopotamya Agency, Directorate of Forestry Operation and Tunceli Governorship didn't participate in fire extinguishing efforts and the fire was taken under control by the volunteers.
It is reported that the fires broke out as the military operations were carried out. (EKN/TK)
