Five Generals and a Colonel Arrested

In the scope of the second "Sledgehammer Plan" case, six of the eight people for whom an arrest warrant was issued have been arrested.

The officers who were arrested are: Lt. Gen Turgut Ataman, Maj. Gen. Nedim Güngör Kurubaş, Maj. Gen.Bulent Kocababuç, Bri. Gen. Mehmet Eldem, Br. Gen. Mustafa Erhan Pamuk and Colonel Mehmet Örgen.

Lt. Gen Turgut Atman, Maj. Gen. Nedim Güngör Kurubaş, Maj.Gen Beyazıt Karataş, Maj.Gen. Bülent Kocababuç, Rear Adm. Ahmet Sinan Ertuğrul, Bri.Gen. Mehmet Eldem, Bri.Gen Mustafa Erhan Pamuk ve Colonel Mehmet Örge had appealed the decision to issue arrest warrant of the Istanbul 10^th Heavy Criminal Court taken during the preliminary review.
