The fill rate of İstanbul's dam reservoirs has reached 44.96 percent, according to İstanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ) figures.
The rate increased by 3.56 percent in the past week and 4.92 percent in the past two weeks, showed the figures released today (April 14).
However, despite the increase, it is the lowest rate on the same day since 2014, when the fill rate was 33.25 percent
Among the 10 dams providing water to the city, the Darlık dam has the highest fill rate with 59.14 percent, and the Pabuçdere dam has the lowest rate with 10.76 percent.
This year, the fill rate had dropped to as low as around 28 percent.
The metropolis of 15.4 million people consumes 3.2 million cubic meters of water per day.
