Farsi, Korean, Urdu To be Taught in Schools

Ministry of National Education has decided that Farsi, Korean and Urdu become a part of the curriculum for foreign languages which could be taught in schools.
Council of Ministers' decision regarding education in mother tongue in some formal and non-formal education institutions was published in the Official Gazette on February 22, 2017.
Optional courses
Following languages will be offered in optional courses as of 2017-2018 school year;
Living Languages and Dialects: Adyghe Language – in Cyrillic alphabet
Living Languages and Dialects: Adyghe Language – in Latin alphabet
Living Languages and Dialects: Abkhaz Language
Living Languages and Dialects: Kurmanji
Living Languages and Dialects: Zazaki
Living Languages and Dialects: Laz Language
Living Languages and Dialects: Georgian Language
Foreign Language: German
Foreign Language: Arabic
Foreign Language: French
Foreign Language: English (YY/DG)
