Leyla Yuce, wife of Murat Yuce, said she heard the sorrowful news from her neighbors.
Leyla Yuce, bursting into tears, said, "I want to hope that my husband still lives. My husband did not deserve to die. He was not a bad person. August 3 was his birthday. I want dead body of my husband. I want to see his face once again."
Leyla Yuce said her husband had phoned her last Thursday and said he would be in Turkey on August 15 or 16. Mrs. Yuce said they could not hear from him since then.
Yuce's wife said her husband had gone to Iraq to help pay off the family's credit card debts.
Ferhat Yuce, brother of Murat Yuce, said he heard the news from the television. Yuce said those responsible should be captured. Ferhat Yuce said, "he had three children. What will happen to them? We want Turkish government to take charge of our funeral." (AY-ULG) (YE)
