Explosion in Mardin, Municipality Worker Killed
47-year-old municipality worker Ramazan Tari has lost his life resulted by mine planted under the road detonated, and a police officer wounded in Turkey’s southeastern Dargeçit district of Mardin province.
Municipality worker lost his life resulted by explosion occurred as armored police vehicle drives by at aroun 7:00 a.m. in Turkey's southeastern Dargeçit district of Marin province, a police officer has been wounded.
47-year-old municipality worker Ramazan Tari lost his life because of shell fragments hitting his body as he was doing cleaning on the road. According to news on newspapers, explosion happened by mine planted under the road detonated.
A large number of armored police vehicles arrived at the scene following the explosion, and ambulances were dispatched. Injured police was taken under treatment in Mardin State Hospital.
Operation has been launched in the area. (AS/TK)
