Istanbul 14th Hugh Criminal Court arrested Erhan Tuncel, one of the top suspects of Hrant Dink murder case.
On January 17, 2012, he was acquitted for involving in the murder of Hrant Dink - editor-in-chief of AGOS newspaper.
On September 17, 2013, an arrest was issued for Tuncel after Supreme Court of Appeals 9th Penal Chamber overthrew the subordinate court ruling.
The top suspect has been captured yesterday at an apartment in Istanbul’s Kumburgaz neighborhood. Following his capture, he was initially transferred to police headquarters and then to Istanbul Courthouse.
Standing trial before Istanbul 14th High Criminal Court, Tuncel has been arrested and sent to a prison.
After that Tuncel’s capture news broke yesterday, bianet reached Tuncel’s advocate Erdoğan Soruklu who claimed he had no idea on the issue.
