Erdoğan Goes Live Through Cell Phone

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has gone live on CNNTürk television through video connection on cell phone.

Erdoğan has noted;

“This is a development [misspelled instead of interference] attempt of a minority group within the Armed Forces. It is obviously an action encouraged by the parallel formation [meaning Gülen Movement]. They will get the necessary punishment through a national response against this action which has targeted the unity and solidarity of our country.

“We will not leave the arena for them. I believe that I will soon suppress their occupation [...].

“No one can destroy our determination, and I call on our nation to gather in the squares and the airport. And this minority can do whatever they want. I do not know any power stronger than the will of the people.

“The chain of command has been broken. I am the [...] President and Commander-in-Chief in this country and the judiciary has immediately responded to those who have undertaken this action without my knowledge”. (NV/DG)
