Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır MP Sibel Yiğitalp was taken into custody this morning (September 14) and was later released.
Yiğitalp had reported her detention on her Twitter account and said: "Right now, I have been taken into custody from my house".
Yiğitalp was taken into custody from her house in Kayapınar district of Diyarbakır in the morning hours today on the ground of an "order to take her forcibly to testify" in the hearing of her trial held before Diyarbakır 5th Heavy Criminal Court which she refused to attend.
After being taken to Diyarbakır Court to testify, Yiğitalp was released. (NV/DG)
