Dead bodies of seven brought to hospital in Şırnak from the operation region

Military operations started in the rural areas of the central, Uludere and Beytüşşebap districts of Şırnak continue and there are sometimes armed clashes between the soldiers and village guards participating in the operations and members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).

Mezopotamya Agency reported today (August 4) that the dead bodies of 7 people, reportedly PKK members, killed in clashes in the region in Şırnak where military operations continue, have been brought to the Şırnak State Hospital morgue.

Bombardment and forest fires

The bombardment continues uninterrupted in a total of eleven areas located in the Bêtkar valley in the Uludere district, which was among the areas declared a "special security zone" on July 27 while the forest fires at some spots in the operation region also continue.
