Curfew Lifted in 12 Villages, Declared in 18 Others in Diyarbakır

Diyarbakır Governorship announced that the curfews declared in 12 villages in Lice and Hazro districts of Turkey's southeastern province on March 2 were lifted as of March 5, 9 a.m.

The above-mentioned villages are: Dibekköy, Çağdaş, Yolçatı, Tepe, Kabakaya, Ortaç, Yalaza, Bağlan, Çavundur, Dolunay and Oyuklu villages of Lice province and Çitlibahçe village of Hazreo province.

The governorship has also announced that curfews were declared in 18 villages of Lice province to be in effect as of March 5, 7 a.m. for a planned operation until further notice.

The villages of Lice which are currently under curfew are: Örtülü, Tuzlaköy, Hedik, Kıralan, Yamaçlı, Dernek, Saydamlı, Bayırlı, Yalımlı, Akçabudak, Kılıçlı, Ulucak, Yorulmaz, Baharlar, Yaprakköy, Yünlüce, Güldiken and Üçdamlar villages.
