Cizre Municipality Co-Chair Kunur Arrested
Cizre Municipality co-Chair Kadir Kunur who was discharged from his position, has been arrested on charges of “being an [illegal] member of a terrorist organization”. The number of the arrested co-Chairs has risen to 35.

Cizre Municipality co-Chair Kadir Kunur has been arrested on charges of "being an [illegal] member of a terrorist organization".
Kunur had been taken into custody on a police check-point at the entrance of the Cizre district.
Arrested today (November 16) on charges of "being an [illegal] member of a terrorist organization", Kunur was sent to Şırnak F-type Prison .
Sub-Governor Ahmet Adanur was appointed to Şırnak-Cizre District Municipality held by Democratic Regions Party (DBP) on September 11.
As of today, there are 35 co-Mayors from (DBP) who are arrested. (ÇT/DG)
