Child Killed in Diyarbakır

Police have attacked on protest held in support of Cizre in Diyarbakır, Mahmut Bulak (16) has been shot to death.

Police have intervened in march organized in support of people in Cizre district under curfew of Diyarbakır province. People in Bağlar and Yenişehir districts have taken it to the street.

16-year-old Mehmet Bulak has lost his life in the incidents that spread to various regions in the city.

Dicle News Agency has reported that body of Bulak has been taken to Bağlar Hospital.

According to data of Turkey Human Rights Foundation (TİHV) Documentation Center, at least 224 civilians of whom 42 are children and 30 are above 60 were killed in the curfew from August 16, 2015 when it was firstly declared to February 5, 2016. (AS/TK)
