In a bomb attack launched in the district of Çobanbey in Syria-Turkey border yesterday (September 15), 12 people have died according to initial findings.
The attack was launched with a bomb-laden vehicle near a hospital in Çobanbey across the Elbeyli district in Kilis. The wounded have been taken to the state hospital in Turkey's southeastern district of Karkamış at a distance of 5 kilometers from the scene of incident.
Syria's northern district of Çobanbey near Aleppo was previously controlled by the ISIS. With Turkey's "Operation Euphrates Shield" into the region, the district was taken from the ISIS and controlled by the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) together with the Free Syrian Army (FSA). (RT/SD)
