Six police officers have lost their lives and four others injured upon Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) members detonating a bomb-laden car parked on the roadside while a shuttle carrying riot squad has been driving by in Bingöl.
Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger visiting the injured police officers in treatment in Bingöl State Hospital has noted two of the injured police officers have been transferred to Elazığ Fırat University Hospital and two others one of whom had severe injuries were still in treatment in Bingöl State Hospital.
Citizens who have heard of the attack and gathered in front of Bingöl State Hospital have reacted against the attack. (NV/DG)
