Attack in Hakkari: 1 Soldier Loses His Life

An attack has been launched from the Zab region in Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) against the Güven Dağı base area in the district of Çukurca in Turkey's southeastern province of Hakkari. While one soldier has lost his life, one civilian and three other soldiers have been injured.
In a statement released by the Governorship of Hakkari, it has been announced that the attack has been carried out with two guided missiles fired by the PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party).
In the statement, it has also been indicated that the wounded civilian has been a construction equipment operator and been severely wounded. (EKN/SD)
